it is a common example people who come from some trip to europe to compare and all comments I always heard from ots of people were that we are "unos pichis" regarding to alcohol, that in any pub in England people drink much more than any argentinian, they have more resistance to alcohol. The same with Germany and also with the parties in Ibiza. The comment (at least up to 10 years ago) was that we argentine people dont know how to drink and everywhere people drink much more. Even in Brazil! It probably have changed though, and Argentina turned into the country with most alcohol consumers.

Probably because things here have improved so much over the past 10 years that people are out drinking the rest of South America out of joy.......

please dont tell me that you consider the cepo cambiario a corralito because everyone can perfectly exchange money every day in cuevas, and in fact they do, and the government knows perfectly well this happens, so no, you cant compare with the corralito where you could not reach your money that you had in banks, had no access at all to the saves of your life, that you wanted to live or do whatever you want (since it was your money) or simply for surgery. Yeah, the "doctor" is full of crap and making non-sensical political statements against the "neo-liberal policy".
Back in 1970, Chile had the same level of social development as Peru. Today, it has the highest Human Development Index in all of Latin America. Does he blame that on the "neo-liberal" policies too? Or is it just a "selective blame assignment" based more on political leaning than on facts?
