Who voted for Tim Horton's? That stuff is filth since they started charging over $1.00 for a single
"gourmet" cookie.

Timmie Hoes makes a nice Turkey Sandwich with Cranberry Sauce - try getting that in BA.

And you need to support your home country companies, to BOOT!

And thanks Hybrid-san for voting for Yoshinoya - take Argentina's excellent beef and combine it with Japanese culinary magic and you'd have a winner! Pickled red ginger anyone?

Re TGIF...I've eaten at the TGIF at the Recoleta Mall. Fajitas and ribs are very similar to the US. They have the same menu more or less as the US But the salads never seem to cut it. Unfortunately they have US prices also! You can get some great cocktails if they don't water them down too much. The hamburgers look like what Americans are accostumed to--and arive without egg on top![

I want a Dunkin Donuts or IHOP. :p Although the usual coffee and toast is probably better for my arteries.

With all these cows in Argentina, I definetely go for the "domburi beef" at the Yoshinoya ...

TGI Friday's is OK, portions are way smaller. All the dishes with some spice are heavily Argentinized. Cajun chicken has almost no cajun. I hate spicy and even I miss it. Service is substandard. At least it's the only place I know here with free refills.

The worse thing about American fast food is the adulteration, we know it's fatty but what about all the crap they inject, e.g. chicken nuggets:

the 50 percent nugget also contained a lot of fat, blood vessels and nerves, as well as "generous quantities of epithelium and associated supportive tissue, including squamous epithelium from skin or viscera." In other words, there was a lot of added fat, blood vessels, nerves, glands and skin. As for the 40 percent nugget, it also contained "fat and other tissue, including connective tissue," as well as "bone spicules." Translated, this means that there was a lot of bone, tendon, and fat.

That's why my poll is Fast Food Neutral. With the results of this poll we will take out half of the KFC's and McDonald and substitute them with IHOPs and Taco Bells. I'm making an executive decision to exclude Chick-fil-A. So no new fast food restaurants will be created - just replaced.

You're so right about the nuggets.
