im looking for sweetened condensed milk...

anyone know what this is in spanish, if they have it here and where i might find it?

This is not uncommon at all. You shouldn't have any problem finding it at any big supermarket like Disco, Coto, or Jumbo in the reposteria section.
 
Leche condensada - its a main ingredient in flan, so you can find it almost anywhere. Look in any chino near the baking supplies, or just ask one of the workers.

Leche evaporada is the unsweetened version which is much harder to find, but you can usually get some in Barrio Chino.

Exactly. No need to make a trip to Barrio Chino for this common item. Even the tiny Carrefour Express around the corner from my house sells leche condensada.
