Today's update from Chris Martenson deals with "the facts" about the epidemic:

NY Times drone footage of Wuhan. If this is just another flu, why are Wuhan and other cities on lock-down? Why were those hospitals built so rapidly?
It's just another flu right? Sort of weird...

For a "level headed" analysis from a self-described city prepper:

Now Chinese news media reports the whistleblower doctor who provided info on coronavirus is not dead from the virus, just ill. The wonders of government! LOOK, I CAN WALK!

This video, confirming his death after a number of conflicting reports during the previous 24 hours, was posted to youtube six hours ago:

Today's update from Chris Martenson asking how fast the virus is spreading:

Coronavirus: Over Fifty Thousand New Infections Per Day?

PS: What he says at the ten second mark may be the most alarming sentence of the entire video:

"Mass quarantine centers are being set up around the world right now."

He notes that the Pentagon has designated six military bases in the US that will be used as quarantine centers should the need arise

He talks about what happens when people actually get sick from the virus...and how your individual results may vary.

The bottom line is that an alarming percentage of the Coronavirus patients are likely to experience serious and possibly life threatening complications, particularly pneumonia in the later stages of the illness (seven to twenty days after showing initial symptoms) . Hopefully, they will be able to get hospital treatment if and when that happens. Unfortunately, that's no guarantee of survival.

What I got from the video:

Most (about 80%) of the people who get sick from the Corona virus will get well without significant medical attention.

As many as 20% (those who develop pneumonia) will require hospitalization and intensive care...

,,,and even that is no guarantee of survival.

It's not a flu virus.
