Along with encouraging news on reining in the agglomerating hordes here in a pandemic, Fernandez lets a number of things drop, details, about
the push forward with the plans and status on various vaccines scheduled to enter Argentina.
Fernandez for President! Oh, he all ready is. What a lucky break then.

Excerpt from article....
....President Alberto Fernández expressed his concern about the increase in coronavirus cases and announced that he will adopt measures in case the trend continues after the end of the year holidays. "If we see that the situation does not ease and the relaxation continues, we will see how the security forces begin to act in the street to dispel people and prevent crowds," said the head of state in dialogue with radio 10....

Blah, blah, blah on the part of AF...too little, too late. Why isn't this operative being put in place starting TONIGHT?

He's not a guy driving a one horse cart through a village. Easy to criticize from the sofa. But, just watching the data available, they could of/should of lit up the security forces on the streets a week ago when the surge began. Along with notices to people not wearing masks. There must be some considerations on trying to retain co-operation while not dropping an anvil on the holidays.
Whenever it happens, better late than never. And at least we're not elsewhere, like the US for example.

The guy has failed completely. There are a number of non-US and non-EU examples of middle-sized, middle-income countries doing a far better job than Argentina. So far he has delivered on only 3 or 4 electoral promises and not kept any of his pandemic related promises.... 300.000 by the end of 2020...lol. First to get Pfizer... lol again. Better than Sweden... now I just can’t breathe.

Whatever way you look at it, deaths, infections, economic indicators, Argentina is amongst the worst in the entire world. As said earlier, anything this guy says is just blah blah blah of nice ideas in an attempt to win votes from, sadly to say less educated and globally aware Argentines, without actually delivering any results or taking any accountability whatsoever. Expats that spend long enough in Argentina soon realize the country is ruled by anarchy and not presidents.

what in your mind is argentina doing better at than the US managing this?

Just to note, your cryptic comments leave a lot to be desired. Your long post backed up with information here, better and digestible.
There is good reporting on China handling/control of information related to Covid, and current circumstances in Wuhan
in the Guardian:
There is good news about a Covid vaccine, Sinopharm, out of China. This one promoted and voluntary. Also it's likely to be increasingly available outside of China
Thank you for commenting my comments and happy new year!
Believe whatever you believe, it's a free world. I am originally from Wuhan, and I still know a lot of people there, the people who know what's going
on in China and Wuhan. I do not need the Guardian to tell me what's going on in Wuhan. When doctor Li Wen Liang reported in the SARS like patients in his small group in Feb 2020, I knew it couple of hours after that in US.
If you like Chinese vaccines, fine, please take it.

Normally I resist, but besides pointing out you're an idiot and a recurring one with nothing of value to add, only baseless negatives, you're going on IGNORE and good riddance.

I'm still yet to see any studies on the vaccine making you not able to infect others... IF that is the case then there is even less reason for me to take it given my age and health status. I will let my body do its job rather than some made up lab shit that has been rushed to production using a technology that has NEVER been successful before. Thanks but no thanks - everyone else can go get vaccinated as they please but don't dare try guilt those who make the choice not to into getting it because 'yer but what about infecting others' bullshit. When I get on a plane or send my kid to school I know full well some fucker likely has a cold or flu (especially winter) and I'll likely catch it and be sick for a week - all part of life - we can't be bubble wrapped or else our immune system will forget what its job is and when it does become required will fail miserably.
