It may have been answered before but what are the latest recommendations for a good tango experience in Buenos Aires?
I'm thinking dinner, learn a bit of tango and then watch the pros dance it. All with a live band.
Downtown BA.
Thanks in advance!

Torquato Tasso isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it's worth checking out for the great shows.

Here is a list of tango houses http://www.turismo.buenosaires.gob.ar/es/article/casas-de-tango that offer a lesson/dinner/show package through the hotels. They run several hundred pesos per person.

Here is a list of the milongas and neighborhood clubs http://www.hoy-milonga.com that have classes, social dances, and dinner for the locals, often including exhibitions and live music.

Here is a list of milongas and neighborhood clubs by day with details on classes, social dances, exhibitions and live music for locals at a much lower price. Last night, for example, I went to Club Gricel in Boedo. There was a class that ended at 10:30. Then local couples came to dance until 4:00am. I was there for a milonguero's birthday celebration. The admission is 60 pesos. A bottle of champagne is 145 pesos. There was an exhibition by the 2015 World Champions in the stage category who danced four numbers. Like many, this Club has a kitchen if you want to have dinner. This option is where you get to see the local couples dance the real thing.
