Do any of you sail?

I too know someone with a boat who takes people out sailing on the weekends.... and over to Colonia and charges in pesos .... I am going to start going from November....
 
Count me in for a bit of sailing. Preferably Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays as I play polo on the others. Happy to chip in for boat hire...is there a Sunsail or equivalent based here?
 
Miles, sounds fun! I'm sure there are charter outfits around - if not Sunsail or similar, there must be some local ones. I will continue investigating that!

While I have no experience actually sailing a vessel, I've been on a number of privately chartered trips with friends in the captain's chair. I appreciate the sailing ethos and lifestyle. And the rum.
 
I'll check with my father-in-law, he's member of a sailing club down there, he's always asking me about sailing resources up here in SF.
 
Will, I know a lot about sailing in SF and could trade some tips if you know about BA! cool.
