It is naive the idea that they wan to to prop up the peso, they are selling cheap usd to their selves. They are not inept, they are corrupt.

For years you defended the last government. Years! When they were selling the dollar for $9, when it was really $15... where were you with all of these comments about the leaders being corrupt? For years I read you defend them. Now, with this government, you suddenly realize that selling the dollar cheap is being corrupt. What is more, you accuse the people who do not "see it" as being naive. So, were you simply naive yourself before or just egging on the corruption of the last government?

I can really not think of a person on this forum that I would trust less than you.

Lastly, from the other lawyers on the forum - PLEASE remove the Dr. from your post. How insecure must you be to have to insert Dr. along with your name on a forum. I mean, it would be bad enough if you were an MD posting Dr. on a forum - but a lawyer? Come on!

The former administration usd policy rewarded people who pay tax with cheaper usd that you were able to buy according with your declared income while this government abolished all the controls against money laundy, several of its leaders are arrested for drug trafficking and they took 150 billion usd loans that is going to be paid by the low and middle class for selling cheap usd the rich class who does not pay income tax because they have off shores (income tax is used to pay external debt).
There is a big difference that someone like you cannot see but the Central bank of South Africa clarified that they are a serious institution, not like the CB of Argentina.
You insults only shows you lack of self confidence and, perhaps, education.

I suffered this problem with my Argentinian ex-girlfriend as well. She was insecure, but could not admit that, instead whoever made her insecure was bad (and if I did not want to confirm her silly accusations, I was bad as well). Then my granddad died and I went to the funeral back home, so I left her alone in Argentina. That was the end of the relationship.

I just wonder how many Argentinians are affected by this condition. I have the impression it is more common in Argentina than somewhere else. I think it is part of the unstable nature of Argentina, it may be both a consequence and a cause of the instability.

Serious question for someone who knows the answer, please, in reference to the mention of Dr + lawyer and its use in Argentina:
- does it mean that someone has a post-graduate/post university, doctoral level degree, a PhD in Law?
- does it mean that the individual holds a post-graduate/post university JD (Doctor of Jurisprudence or Juris Doctor) title?
- is it a mark of respect or an honorifc (like 'Dotorre/Dottoressa' in Italian used by any university-level degree holder, not indicating a post-graduate or doctoral level training in any field)?
- is it used like in Colombia for example, where the use of “doctor” or “doctora” is used for someone judged to hold a superior social position or who has power in the bureaucratic system?

Do you even speak Spanish? Lawyer in Argentina is literally referred to as 'doctor.'
