It's Argentine Statistics 2.0 - after the approach using fake numbers for inflation didn't work that well, not disclosing inconvenient statistics might be seen as a valid alternative, especially with the upcoming elections.

I see all this like alcoholism or addiction all this Peronismo/Socialismo/Populismo/Cronismo/Lietoyouismo/Deceptionismo/Ignorancismo/Foolishnessismo and it involves denial and or out right evil self centered corruption. Just like people on drugs or booze they are not accountable it is not their fault their is always someone or something else to blame. Well that is the work of another ministry. Do not expect me the minster of money numbers to actually be competent or capable of real analysis because actually the only reason I am a minister is because I am just crony looser dressed up like a winner. None of which is unique to Argentina it just seems that the infection is bit more acute so to say.

The speed of light can be measured objectively. As for poverty, sure there are various agreed upon definitions and methodologies to measure it. You know, social sciences tend to work like that!. (Again, this is not Physics). And btw, it's important when comparing among countries and across time to be consistent! So it's not that simplistic. Anyway, I think they know all these numbers and they just decided not to have a public discussion about them. So it's probably smart for the opposition to bring their own numbers to the public scrutiny, sort of like they did with inflation rate, and not focus so much on what the guy said. So this post would be far more interesting if we were discussing some of those numbers, comparing with other countries and across time... I know, were are just chatting here.

Well obviously this Minister guy is an utter failure at his job. Of course since he clearly is not in the know relating to the numbers it all makes sense. The beauty of math is that it never lies.

But as long as Argentinians like Bejo the lawyer and others are willing to support these charlatans and even go so far as to make excuses for them publicly. We can expect nothing is going to change. It amazes me beyond words that even a supposedly educated man it incapable to looking at the truth and dealing with it according to the truth like a man.

But then again I have had experiences with only a very very few Argentinians that are even capable of grasping the truth looking at it like an educated man and calling a spade a spade. Instead most just want to play along with the games and delusions. I guess when the truth is in reality terribly horrific it is the only way they handle it.

"Pensador", the source you use is biased. Any person who actually use his brains can see that. That source failed in all the predictions about Argentina. Why should they magicly become accurate?

To talk about poverty is tricky in Argentina and to blame the K administration for poverty or its increase (that you imagine but asserts like a revealed true) might put you in ridicoulous.

Let's see, on 2001 there were children starving just crossing the Gral. Paz, now Clarin publishes that a child at Chaco died for starvation. Right! Poverty increased? No.

However, a "peronist" institution like World Bank asserted the following about this administration:

So, right, Brasil has devaluated and this affects Argentina. But, what is the point?

Obviously I know the difference. Obviously you will fit right in with those making a salary of $600 USD a month happily even religiously supporting the system that makes you worth a mere $600 USD a month.

You forget I lived there a long time there is nothing biased in that chart it is a cold hard reality.Unless you are delusional in which case I cannot help you anyway.

Definition of biased you might understand: whatever doesn't follow neoliberal policies is wrong and this is how this chart is done and this is how you reason.

Argentina doesn't follow the recipies of the IFM and they cannit accept that reality shows that Argentina is doing very well.
