Expat Deported At Ezeiza

Just curious Baho, if a passenger arrives at EZE and has not paid or does not have proof of payment for the reciprocity fee, are they subject to the same deportation order?

I am wondering the same. When the prepaid reciprocity requirement was put in place--the airlines boarded many passengers without proper documentation. If that's still an issue (I thought it was under control since airlines were pay heavy fines) then these numbers could be inflated due to unpaid reciprocity rather than pseudo-tourist. So does the 432 encompass all deportations?

If you read the acta, it says "deuda pendiente" so, yes, they can deport you for that.

All.

How come only 2 or 3 contacted you Bajo.

I would expect at least 300 of them getting in touch with you!

There are lawyers who specializes in HC and they deal with 90% of the cases, mainly chinese.
Some years ago some people (mafia) contacted me to represent thouse cases (they said about 20 per month)(human trafficking) and they offer 10.000 usd each only if I win. I rejected the offer.
I don't want to work for the mafia.
I don't work based on success because, success takes a lot of work and money, and my experience is that this people wants results right now (read that you offer bribes on their behalf) and I don work like that.
I became the lawyer of the victims of human trafficking instead of the lawyer of the Chinese mafia.

I still wonder why people from wealthy countries do this kind of things to stay in Argentina. I find Argentine immigration policy very accommodating, there is always a way to make it work for you, if you want it. So why don't they want it? I can't still figure it out, giving these people come from countries where illegal immigration is widely discussed, they have to know that there are immigration rules in place. So why try to escape them? It's not like they are losing something if they immigrate here legally!

It is much cheaper to get a proper immigration visa than to do Colonia run and other stuff. I wonder why they don't play this kind of trick in some Eastern or African country...

I understand that. What I am asking you if that is the practice? If you are denied entry because of not having the reciprocity fee, are you formally deported? Or just sent to the gate to wait for your flight back?

"I wonder why they don't play this kind of trick in some Eastern or African country" - not sure what this is supposed to mean and can't tell if racist.

Bs as is the same case for USA as Miami is for SA,i guess. But people are doing that in many countries, we just don't know that.

Nothing racial about it.

She is saying why do people from first world countries try to circumvent the law instead of trying to find a way to comply with it.

Then she is saying, will these people dare try same thing in Africa what they try here.

Oh, so much for American PC! I meant that in some other countries they wouldn't get the treatment they get here, where the most they face is a flight back home.
