Export Wine?

If you want to export wine commercially to the USA , you will have to register the labels at the BATF and ensure all wording on front and back labels complies with US legislation.

Another problem not mentioned previously is the impact of inflation. The major producers in Argentina that do export haven't been able to raise prices to pass along their rising costs in export markets because of competitive pressures. What they have done is raise prices domestically to offset what their losing in the export markets. The result is that the same bottle of Argentine wine on sale in the U.S. and Argentina will cost more in Argentina. If you wanted to export from Argentina its possible it might have to be done at a loss. Another reason for forgetting this idea and simply wiring the money out.

you do not need to make a profit, just do not suffer a loss. Buy in pesos here, sell at cost+small margin (if any), receive in USD in whatever country you export to. Asian countries would pay more for Argentinian wines...

OP - here's what no one has told you, because they simply don't know. If you export wine from ARG, the funds to pay for the wine must come from outside the country. I would love to be able to pay for wine in person, but it's not allowed.
