Facial

Has anyone had a facial here that included extractions? I am nervous about the cleanliness of some salon/spas.

Then you should go to a dermatologist's or plastic surgeon's office to have that done. They generally charge less than an over-rated spa that doesn't even have doctors working there.

Really? Back in Chicago I don't think dermatologists give facials. I went to a licensed esthetician at a spa.

I go to Dr. Lucila Mangas, or to her mother Dr. Carmen Mangas, who is head of dermatology in the Fernandez Hospital to get peelings and any other cosmetic procedure done. Trust me, their office is spotless and extremely well decorated to boot. I've been going to them for six years and have never had a problem. A facial in Spanish is called "una limpieza". I'm they do those as well. The number to their office is 4374-4541. I really like them, and have been to spas and never felt comfortable.
