Fascists in Palermo

There is no doubt though that there is more freedom of the press in Argentina than the USA, Australia and Europe . At least here there are some interesting articles and all the details are shown.

Regarding Graffiti in Palermo I believe thats its amongst the best in the world if not the best . There is so much creative talent and energy in Buenos Aires that needs to be expressed and graffiti is a excellent expression.

You have to be kidding. "Details are Shown" ..............where?
Creativity equals Graffiti.............defacing someones property is creative?

La Nacion, Clarin, and La Prensa are definitely NOT part of the same group.

In my opinion, "Perfil" is the most independent-minded paper.

Pagina 12 used to be good, until it was bought by a friend of the Kirchners and is now about as unbiased as Fox News.

Only english link I could find. Make of it what you will.

And no, the papers aren't all owned by the same group.

Wow so it's so corrupt and widespread that these people don't mind participating in front of the cameras. And given that they work for several candidates it's surely a practice that is done by all major parties and that is have been like this for a very long time.

Clientelismo and vote "buying" has been around forever and is practized by most of the major major Parties. But the Peronist Party is know for perfecting this practice and taking it to the next level, they have the biggest clientelist structure and far less scruples than most of the other parties.

A lot of the best examples of graffiti and street art around the city are done with the permission of the owners of the building. The electricity station in collegiales commissioned a group of street artists to to a piece covering the entire station. There's a subte station that did the same earlier last year. There's a world of difference between 13 year old kids marking their territory with scribbles and something like this:

Buenos Aires is a good city for seeing graffiti. There are some talented artists here.

With regards to fascism, it´s all the same whether its capitalism, communism etc.

How is it "all the same"? If you were consistent with your - oh so popular - argument I guess you'd have no problem living under 30s Totalitarianism - just the same as Switzerland right? Well you're lucky, the Nazis may be gone from Germany (sort of...) but you can totally move to North Korea or Somalia and test how a Fascist Totalitarian State and Anarchy respectively are "just the same" as America, or Argentina, or Costa Rica!

Ruling by decree means one guy in this case gets to make laws, not to democratic in my opinion and definitely authoritarian in my opinon. The following link will explain what this means for Hugoland.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6277379.stm

And here is Obama continuing Bush legacy:

"With much of his legislative agenda stalled in Congress, President Obama and his team are preparing an array of actions using his executive power to advance energy, environmental, fiscal and other domestic policy priorities."

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/13/us/politics/13obama.html?ref=us

Executive power is just a euphemism for Ruling by decree.

So complain away when Hugo does it, but remain silent when it happens in your country. HypocriteBob

Not the same thing at all, executive orders are for implementing or interpreting an existing statue approved by congress. What Hugo is doing is completely bypassing the legislative process and basically doing whatever he wants, including formulating laws. You should have studied harder in your civics classes.

So not only are you a hypocrite but totally incapable of admitting that you are wrong:

"Executive Orders do not require Congressional approval to take effect but they have the same legal weight as laws passed by Congress."

It says nothing about existing statues.
