bloody annoying the comments re: nazi this or that or conspiracy theory. if you think so, then quietly feel superior and giggle to yourselves about the crazies. People can choose to believe what they wish to believe.

You're entitled to believe whatever you'd wish, the great thing about science is that it's true whether you believe it or not.

There's a difference between fact and opinion. In your opinion, as a layman, fluoride is "bad". The facts, from specialists, show that the amounts that occur both naturally in the water table, and that are added to municipal drinking water do not have a negative impact on human health. If you want to quote blogs or one off scientists or natural "news" then that's fine, just realize, as stated, this is your belief, not a fact.

Also, bottled water is a bad choice generally because its sourced from nature which, like the government, appears to be trying to poison and or control people with fluoride...

But I digress, the fact that there are people on this forum that think fluoride is some sort of mind control scheme need to really evaluate their priorities in life and read beyond sites like "naturalnews"

I criticize them because I'm sick of our culture of paranoia. The terrorists, the fluoride, GMOs, death panels, etc. I'm not saying don't be critical or question authority, I'm just saying its bad the amount of paranoia and fear that seems to dominate peoples lives. If you watch the local news you'd think you're going to have your house broken in to or be drugged and raped.

I'm a left wing civil libertarian, I don't care what people do, drink flourinated water or don't, I really don't care. I'm just sick of people being constantly afraid to live and thinking that the world is so terrible and sinister, especially when people in sub saharan African nations can't get portable water let alone flourinated.

The chemical leaked from plastic water bottles is probably more of a threat to your health than fluoride.

My dentist here used to always give me a fluoride treatment, but years ago I told her I don't want it anymore. Not that I'm afraid of fluoride, but that it tastes like shit. I rarely have cavities so it's not a problem.

Actually, until I was around 18 I lived in the sticks where we had a pump/well. No fluoride, but lots of bugs if the water table was low.
