Going Rate For A Housekeeper

I pay mine 55 hour but no benefits. She works one weekday/week and I've been using her for years. She asks for raises once or twice a year, following inflation. There's a different rate for full time, and usually one pays time and a half on weekends or holidays here.

1 dependable (one we had was flaky), 2 hard working (another would take 2x what others took), 3 "some trust" (not have to worry too much about home valuables) and 4 reasonable in price (one wanted 70/h + travel for 8 hours/week). After the third one we hired left (she switched to a gig with more hours/week) we simply stopped looking.

Not sure if those are high requirements. Given that many here have posted good experiences, either we are the problem (possible, but obviously i'd like to think not ;-) or it's simply harder to find them in my zone (La Lucila) than in Capital
