Selling Ipads in Argentina has been discussed and now I was wondering about Google Glass in Argentina.

Is there any demand for google glass in Argentina? I searched google for google glass Argentina and it showed mercado libre selling two, both for over $2000 dollars.

Without wifi and on the street you still need to pair the glasses with your smart phone. I never thought google glass was very practical and I imagine in argentina it would be even less practical.

Any thoughts?

I'm sure some geeks would want to buy it. As a certified geek myself I'm more interested in http://www.oculusvr.com/ and http://www.virtuix.com/

So i can relive my 90s virtual reality dreams in skyrim

At first, the Google Glass won't be about being practical, they'll be a total show-off/bling bling

Business idea of the year: make fake Google Glass sold 20 pesos in Argentina, 10 $ in the US, etc.

When the cellphones started being on the market for real (mid 90s), the Italians (similar to the French in many ways) were many to buy fake plastic ones, to talk loudly in the train like if they had a tycoon life

No, apart from the technical limitations ,people in Argentina have some style and probably wouldnt be seen dead in google glasses.
