With the signing of three resolutions that were published this Friday in the Official Gazette, the government made official the granting of routes to three low cost airlines. As President Mauricio Macri announced earlier this year, the companies that will be able to operate in Argentina for the next 15 years are American Jet, Andes and Alas del Sur, while requests placed by Avianca and Fly Bondi did not prosper......​

I'm excited to see competition in the Argentine market. Transatlantic in particular. It's under $500 in from US gateways for major airlines thanks in part to the Norwegian, WOW, Condor, Thomas Cook etc. Even summer fares have been as low as $500.

Though with airlines, I kinda wish they'd keep the fairs the same and make the flight more comfortable. I really don't know how tall people survive a transcontinental flight in coach these days.
