help finding temp jobs?

Hi everyone!
I'm currently making plans to live in BA this June, July and August for an internship. (It's my post-graduation "avoid adulthood for three months" plan). The internship doesn't pay unfortunately, and my funds are tight, so I do want/need some form of income while I'm there. Is it difficult to find "under the table" babysitting or teaching English jobs? How would I go about finding those gigs?

A lot of people put up fliers and they find English students to give private lessons to, but thats really more of a long term plan, since it can take a while to get enough students to make it worth your while. Search in here (for the occasional ad for a babysitter) and on craigslist and you may be able to find something.
