Just went to my local Carrefour on Santa Fe and Ayachucho. I have never seen so many empty and poorly stocked shelves. I bet the grocery stores in Hiroshima were better stocked after the bomb. I think the Argentines deserve better but why aren't they complaining for better conditions?
If you watched any news / news magazine shows or read any newspapers that are not oficialista you would see that everyone (that's not crazily Kirchnerista) is complaining, constantly, and quite loudly. But it's end of the year, believe me, empty grocery market shelves are not going to be the worst thing you see before the years done, this is Argentina, December is when all hell breaks loose, cortes everywhere, manifestaciones, tomas de parques etc. Being able to get a variety of things in the grocery store is the least of the problems.
