Hey- just moved back here from Oregon (third and hopefully final move here since '99). Try to avoid teaching through institututes as the pay is horrible- or just do one til you can steal students-many will make you schlepp across town for one hour of teaching in one place, then another- avoid those. Come with enough money to be here for a few months to try to get private classes (it will be tough to live well teaching unless you have a masters in education and can get a job at the american school). Getting work isnt tough but getting classes that pay more than 60-75 pesos an hour may be....
