Hola! New-to-the-Expats

Hi Everyone,

I'm so happy to find the expat scene. The forums have already been immensely helpful. I was trying to find a haircut (not of the mullet, rattail, mohawk variety) and thanks to your files I found a couple of salons.

Also, I'm a writer/professor and I would love to hear from anyone else writing in English--poems, stories, novels, whatever--who lives here.

I met an American writer at the Club Europeo. She goes to the "So to Speak", conversation groups in English, on Mondays, 7pm-9pm. She´s got a book in print I believe. Her name is Patricia.

They also hold literary meetings on Borges, and so many other local and international writers.

The club is hosting an After Office Party on Thursday. You could meet people there too.
