How to cash a US Check?

Not an option here anymore - legally at least. It was possible in the basement of American Express headquarters at Plaza San Martin, 15 years ago.

Some cuevas may cash a check, but for a fee and for clients with whom they have longstanding relationships.

You take a picture of the check with your American banking app, like Bank of America, Wells Fargo etc they all allow remote deposit of checks with pictures taken by your phone. Once the money is in your bank account in the US you bring it to Argentina in the normal way, Cuevas or use your credit card etc
