My apologies for the tardy reply, but it is already happening. For instance, young adults up to age 26 may remain on their parents' insurance policies, which makes them an easier hire for a small business. Insurance may no longer refuse coverage because of "pre-existing conditions" so that, if I have a hangnail, I can now get a policy. Improved public health standards due to preventive care under broader coverage will benefit everybody, with fewer sick days all around. Universal care will come, to everybody's advantage, but in the interim the expanded coverage is a huge step forward.
