Is any one else watching Glenn Beck on FOX?

The function of Beck, Limbaugh and others is to take the genuine misery, resentment, and anger of tens of milions of Americans and channel it in fruitless directions. Red herrings are their speciality. Ideological incoherence and demonising individuals (rather than focusing on systemic characteristics) their trademark. And they pander to a conceited but undereducated audience.

Even in serious white nationalist circles -- people one might imagine to be the natural audience for these performers -- there's a recognition that they're bought-and-paid-for stooges of the status quo. They have no real way forward to propose.

Wow, so that's what advocating the principles on which the US was founded means.

Not exactly the "status quo" is it?

You guys are so funny! Nothing like taking your political biases to Argentina, it's like carrying baggage you don't need. Here's what's happening at home. Fox News is now the #1 TV News Organization, profitable and secure. They are adding viewers, while CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC are all shedding viewers and losing money. Fox fact-checks, and they have never had to retract a story. The operative word is Never. You may not like them, but they are growing because the other TV networks just parrot Obama's talking points. As Obama gets caught in "untruths" people leave the parrot stations and watch Fox. So, that's an update.

Lbaron, Fox is popular because it's entertaining. If I chose my news programs like I choose my TV series or movies I probably wouldn't watch the snoozefest that is the other news organizations either. But, news is not MEANT to be fun, it's meant to be informative.

Even George W. Bush got a few things right, and the "liberal media" gave him credit when it was due. Can anyone show me even one example of Fox lauding something, anything, Barack Obama has done, without being facetious, condescending, or ultimately trying to undercut his presidency even more?

The Glenn Beck Program is NOT a news program and does not pretend to be. Bill O'reilly has actually said a number of positive things about President Obama and frequently gives him the "benefit of the doubt" (much to my surprise).

Glenn Beck is not a journalist or a newsman, but he is opposed to the policies of Barack Obama. Beck is trying to draw attention to the fact that Obama, as promised five days before the election, is now "fundamentally changing" the government of the United States.

Barack Obama took the oath of office in January and pledged to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, but according to Beck, that is not what he is doing. Beck is sincerely opposed to Obama on philosophical grounds and has never been facetious or condescending in stating that opposition, which, yes, he does often, and with notable passion.

Ya gotta watch it to grasp it.

(The "liberal media" never gave G. W. much credit and ridiculed him for things they wouldn't dare mention about Obama. They certainly were never in the tank for him as they are now for President Obama.)

If the liberal media gave President Bush the same amount of credit they give President Obama, George Bush would have won the Nobel Peace Prize for saving tens of thousands on the African Continent from AIDS because he sent more aid there than any one else has ever done - including President Obama.

Glen Beck is asking questions that all US Citizens should be asking. He is exposing some of the more radical appointees/czars in the Obama administration. If the "change you can believe in" is to spend the USA into bankruptcy while moving towards socialism, I'm glad these guys are raising some flags.

> you watch nazi glenn beck?
> a self made freak show

Seems kind of unnecessary?

Glenn Beck is over the top in some ways but if you discount the dramatic way in which he presents things and only focus on the message then for the most part you get:

1. small government, individual responsibility, freedom, etc are good and the opposite is bad

Why is that bad?

Nothing bad with that, actually those are the reasons guys like Yaron Brook allow themselves to be guests to his show.

It's not what he says, it's how pathetic he looks while saying it :p

Just think, if they sold marsh-mellows in BA, the Glenn Beck haters could make little dolls of him (with blue m&m eyes for additional authenticity), hold him over an open fire, and then eat him.

Then they would be satisfied, wouldn't they?

Or just satiated?

Satiated. You'd have to make edible O'Reillys (maybe with dried fruits like Welsh Cakes) to satisfy them.

But careful, maybe they would acquire his powers!

I am trying to get away from people like Glenn Beck. Don't tell me there is any correlation between him and someone living in B.A. This guy is a freak show. He is absolutley a wacko!
