Nope not normal in my experience if an Argentinian woman is attracted to you she is going to be all over you within less than a month of dating sometimes faster. Typically my experience was they liked to play a little hard to get and then unleash the beast. Not saying my experiences are everyone's by any means.

Thanks Ed, but the truth must be told, I was inspired at myself, the whole thing brings so many memories to me.
I remember when I was young and dating my future wife:

first date: no kiss, I've paid the tickets for the cinema.
2 weeks later: no kiss. I paid the bill at a fancy restaurant.
...
20 years later: kisses I have plenty, but I'd rather not pay anymore

It sounds like you've become her "gato". Argentine women, especially ones from Buenos Aires, are not stupid. I have a lot of female friends who play hard to get with their gatos to get financial support for them. Meanwhile, they have a young, passionate lover on the side. I think if you let her dominate you she'll lose respect for you, or look for another gato when you're money runs out. There are plenty of intelligent, beautiful, financially independent Argentine women. Don't be so desperate that you pay for everything just for her attention. You're feeding her ego and diva complex and getting nothing in return.

Yeah I hate to say it but I have seen this more than one time with expats. They just get used for cash thinking the love will come and it does not. It surprises me that men seem to chase these things. It is pretty easy to tell when a women really loves you. I had an accident surfing two years ago I walked in the house my wife took one look at me and knew something was wrong. She went right into action and she was not looking after money she was looking after her companion. I really lack words for my wife yes she is my lover but well so much more.
