If you have a close entry stamp you can have with you until 9999 usd at the official rate no question asked, but be nice with police, they are not customer service. If you exchange them abroad, bring the receipt.

He misunderstood your question, he meant international flight to Argentina you can bring 10k usd without declaring.
there is absolutely no restrictions on moving money domestically. obviously if you fly with a suitcase of cash that might bring some unwelcomed attention by the authorities but i would be more worried about the chorros...
