Is it ok to fly domestically with large amount of pesos cash?

The airport police here are mostly checking for missing and wanted persons, drugs and cash as opposed to nail files, given the domestic security priorities. If traveling with a really big amount and they see it on the X-ray, you may be asked to substantiate where it came from. Same thing if they see you have many pills in your bag, they may want to know what they are for etc. There’s no rules against carrying either unless it turns out to be illicit.

that. common sense.

If you have over 23 kilograms of pesos, they will charge you an overweight baggage fee. Not sure what your idea of "a large amount" is. When Jose Lopez was caught, he claimed $8 million in USD hundred dollar bills was not a "large amount".
