A NYT article, or a Bill Maher rant attacking Tara Reade's character is not the same as proving the allegations false.

Attacking the character of an alleged female sexual assault victim is only sexist when the accused is a politician I do not like.
In the end, Trump supporters and Biden supporters are two sides of the same coin: They only see what they want to see and will do all kind of mental gymnastics to defend their idealized political deity.

Corruption and bribery are so instututionalized and normalized in US politics through the lobbying system and after Citizens United that it would take a lot of effort for a politician to actually break the law. The legal definition of corruption has become so narrow that even Trump and his family have managed to avoid it.

Kamala Harris is the perfect representation of the current democratic party. Checks all the boxes when it comes to identity - a woman of color who announces her pronouns. Cloaked in progressive woke speak, she is a servant to powerful corporate interests.

Her record is extraordinarily dark.

She has protected sexual predators in the Catholic Church, fought to keep innocent minorities in jail long after new exonerating evidence has come to light, threatened to jail poor struggling parents whose children didn't go to school, aggressively prosecuted simple drug crimes, let Steve Munchin off the hook for mortgage fraud and consequently received a large donation from him, a reliable partner for big tech, and weaponized xenophobic latino imagery to win votes, long before Trump.

The nomination of retired Gen. Lloyd Austin to be the next defense secretary has raised concerns over his ties to the defense industry, most notably his membership on the board of Raytheon Technologies.

But less well-known is his membership on the board of Nucor, a steel company that's a subcontractor to at least two major defense contractors.
