Cold I can take. And better if the cold surrounding is closer to ski slopes! But if the Bs As cold is mixed with cold freezing rains, then will have reluctance to be residing there.
So hoping that Bs As winter is devoid of the rain when I go over-there.!

Winters are very mild and relatively mild. There are some waves of "intense" cold every now and then but I doubt that a lot of Americans would consider 34 low and 45 high really cold.. Yet again, you're from California. I really think you need to get down here before you continue to think and think and think about moving... i'd say less talking and much more packing (even if just for a two week trip)

I think the winters here are gorgeous - crisp but not too cold and often bright blue skies. It's the summers I hate (at least in Capital)!
