Wouldn't cyber attacks that kill the internet also stop crypto exchanges at the same time...

The exchanges would certainly be down (AWS, other mega hosts would probably be the first to go in a cyber attack), but the decentralized blockchains for peer-to-peer digital transactions should largely remain intact, unless the users personally couldn't connect to any internet to broadcast transactions and scan the blockchains.

taking down the internet is different than taking down banking/dollar. I read it as the latter. if you have BTC in your wallet you could do whatever you want with it outside of official channels if those collapse. that's the benefit of having it

Klaus Schwab has predicted the former as a result.of a cyber attack.with as.much certainty as Anthony Fauci predicted a viral pandemic in 2017.

Schwab is the founder (1973?) of The World.Economic Forum and the.:brain" behind :The Great Reset.

The WEF is leading the charge to replace.papar currency (including the dollar) with CBDC (CENTRAL BANK DIGITAL CURRENCY) so that every dollar or peso spent can be trackef and recorded.

He also favors a biochip that will enable monitoring of everyone on the planet that can be successfully "encouraged" to swallow.

The salient question for expats, especially fixed income U.S. expats, is how do they survive if cyber attacks take down the U.S. banking / money transfer system, or even if it is simply dysfunctional for a couple of months? And if air travel is suspended? Because surely this will occur at the hands of America's enemies if the Democrats spark a wider war.

Does one hoard physical dollars at home ahead of time? Put your money in an Argie bank? Buy Norwegian krone, Swiss Francs, Kuwaiti dinars and PMs and store them in a trustworthy country? What measure and store of value with liquidity do you go to? How does one survive abroad?

People need to consider this because the Democrats are determined to protect their money laundering operation in Ukraine at any cost .... i.e. blowing up Nordstream 1 & 2. Putin is in their way and as the Russian Army grinds the Ukrainians to dust, the Democrats and their globalist allies will become increasingly desperate. And it's not as though they have demonstrated an iota of self-control or concern for the possibility of a nuclear conflagration.

That makes the dollar essentially worthless if you can't move it anywhere. What do you think happens to the world economy?

Most trade is done in USD, the reserves of most central banks in the world are in USD, global elites including Russians hold assets and cash in USD.

Don't you think almost every other country in the world would turn against Russia if they tried this? This would spark a nuclear war, cripple the world economy, leading to riots, starvation and all out chaos.

And you think holding some Norwegian Krone in a bank account somewhere is going to save you? Lmaooo

End of the world predictions date back to the dawn of humanity. There is a whole industry based on scaring elderly people and selling them gold bars to weather the impending doom. Coincidentally, a bad performing asset long term.

Gold is up like 300% over 20 years while the the people who sold them gold bought stock in JNJ up 6,000% or Waste Management up 5,000% in the same time period.

You should try to educate yourself on the amount of money and effort the Pentagon spends on hardening military systems and the charter of CISA. And then try to understand the concept of safe haven currencies. It's only a trillion dollar industry. And then, if it's possible, try get some data on the divestiture of Treasuries as compared to the accumulation of gold by the BRICS+. Playing Fortnite or Medal of Honor is no substitute for reality.
