I love Kale,... here they call it Acelga. Plenty of it & cheap to boot.

I thought acelga was chard and kale was col verde.
I concur. I do like acelga though, and it's very cheap here. We even have some growing in our little garden. I occasionally add it to my carrot/apple juice when I'm feeling bold.

And I thought col verde is almost impossible to come by here! please let me know if i'm mistaken!

I always laugh when the same Argentines who turn up there nose and proclaim that they don't eat vegetables when I'm cooking Brussels sprouts or artichokes or asparagus snarf down tarta filled with Swiss chard, spinach and kale.

Kale is hard to find here, but bok choy is in season (3 packages for $5) has all the same good stuff and is even a negative calorie food.
