Kicillof Pays To 92% Of Bondholders, Griesa's Move Now?

When the dictaturship ended, the sovereign debt was app US$ 40 billion. At the end of 2001 it was US$ 144,4 billion.

One must admire the dictaturship, which can increase the debt so much 18 years after it was substituted by a democratic government.

And nobody said the whole debt, as of 2001, was due to the dictature (but a part of it yes, not a minor one even if I didn't search the precise calculations)

Makes no difference it's an Argentine State Sovereign Debt not a given Government Debt

I think we've already established that a country doesn't get to just get rid of the debt because the leader(s) responsible
for it were terrible people or criminals. We'd only have a couple trillion if that was the case and the Chinese would be
pissed.

It's closing time ladies and gentlemen. SCOTUS & Griesa have said no, OAS/UN/MERCOSUR/UNASUR are all but nice words and
tomorrow the technical default starts. It's time to pay the 92% while paying the holdouts without activating RUFO.

Do you hear the lady clearing her throat? The show is about to begin-end.

There is a 30 day grace period Argentine will be just Delinquent until July 30th , after that is default.

Which does not mean jack shit until ratified by congress, which never happened.
Exactly. Just some banana republic where the government negotiates and signs agreements and even though they don't have a majority to ratify it.

As opposed to a soybean monarchy where everyone can trust that the Queen's command will benefit the common good.
