Hello!

I'm traveling to Buenos Aires in about a month and want to pick up some Korean cooking essentials (I'm living in a small city in Argentina). My question: is it better to go to Koreatown or Chinatown? Do both neighborhoods have ethnic grocery stores/supermarkets?

I'm sorry if the questions seem silly, but in my part of the States I usually go to the local Chinese supermarket for Korean goods. Is it the same in Buenos Aires?

Specifically, I'm looking for:
Chopsticks/bowls
Gochujang (고추장)
Doenjang (된장)
Gochugaru (고추가루)
Chunjang (춘장)
Soy sauce
Sesame Oil + sesame seeds
Seaweed (김, 미역)
Mirin
Myeolchi
Soup base
Noodles (glass, kalguksu, etc)

Also, any restaurant recommendations for Korean food?

You find the Korean groceries at the KT. However, it is a block far from the most dangerous narco villa in CABA.
The CT is safe and you can find most of those groseries.
The problem with K restaurants is where they and that they look too ugly. If this is not an issue for you, go for lunch to this one:

It is the best k parrilla in town.
