Laundry service that is able to use hot water

Laundry service is one of the great things about Buenos Aires for $2 you get all your clothes fresh, folded and clean with no effort other than dropping off a bag. Of course if the clothes are particularly stained or dirty they don't work miracles but for $2 what do you expect.

In the USA you would be paying more than $2... per item!
 
For me the problem is white towels and sheets. I don't understand how those are supposed to be washed in cold water.
 
Not a laundry expert but this place definitely cleaned a white towel that I had that had a few drops of blood (from a nosebleed!!) on it.
