Long Hot Summer ...power Cuts

I lose power (granted we're in pvca) at least once a week. Usually a few hours at a time, sometimes a day or more. As annoying as that is - the kick is that once we lose power, we lose internet. And that usually takes oh.....at least 24 hours to get reconnected. If I'm lucky. I lost power last Friday afternoon and didn't get internet back until Tuesday (anything over the weekend is an automatic not a chance). And because there are no options where I live, I'm paying some obscene amount of money for internet that barely works.

In the month of August, I think I had 3 days of working internet thanks to power outages and delays in restoration.
