Looking for a jewish restaurant

Tucson is a dump as others have pointed out. I used to have to eat at the one in Pilar with coworkers. They did have iced tea, though!

Heh - I ate at that one (same shopping center as Jumbo/Easy) quite a bit over the couple of years I lived out there (various reasons - I always felt tortured, but my family liked it for the most part as something "different"). I don't think we ever had a good meal there, and I don't think the meal ever came out quite like we ordered either.

I've only eaten at the Tucson next to Hard Rock Cafe once, the only other Tucson I've ever eaten at aside from Pilar. Pretty much the same results.

I second Kettle's "Big Momma" recommendation. Forgot about that place. Sandwiches are really good, nice and big. It's actually a pretty decent venue too, especially in the summer - they have a nice open air section out front.
