Lunfardo is a slang language formed in the second half of the 19th century. It is traditionally considered to be an argot language invented by marginal beings, used by criminals to communicate in prison like a hidden code.
But in fact lunfardo was born in the poor areas of Buenos Aires due to forced coexistence between immigrants and natives.
