In other words, an independent judge has just been replaced.

You assert is not accurate:
1. She is not a Judge;
2. She is a lawyer who covered provisory a vacancy at a Federal Court until the federal Congress covers the vacancy.
3. The Federal Congress approved the list of jueces subrogantes (lawyers who covers vacancies until the real judges are appointed.) according with the new law.
It means she is off because the Congress covered the vacancy and many others.
4. Half of those jueces subrogantes are k idelogical friendly.
5. When Menem reform the federal crminal justice, alike this new reform, he pointed 100% of judges M friendly.
6. She was critized for being part the the trial industry against the federal State. It is regarding corruption: a judge without territorial jurisdiction grand clases action to federal agents regarding salaries. So, all the claims are done under this corrupt judge who gets a % of the fees of the lawyer.
Clarificarion: you have to do the claim under the judge of your address, it is illegal if i do it under the judge of another place i know is going to say yes. This is called forum shopping.

Before las elections, according to Clarin, Lilita or Afonsin were going to ballotage and then, they were going to defeat CFK.

They had about 2% of the votes.

Judge Ana Alvarez -and you as a lawyer should clarify this fact to the readers here, is called a 'subrogante' ... and a 'SUBSTITUTE JUDGE is a JUDGE WHO IS NOT only a temporary substitute but IS ALSO QUALIFIED MEMBER OF THE JUDICIARY WHO IS COMPETENTLY ABLE TO PERFORM the FUNCTION required ...SHE IS NOT A 'PRETEND JUDGE' - she is a 'TEMPORARY' judge. Where is it written that she is in any way less capable of fulfilling her temporary post.... she is QUALIFIED to substitute the judge in the first place and WOULD NOT BE a SUBROGANTE judge in the first place.

A deputy judge can exercise ALL administrative duties, powers & responsibilities of the judge in his/her absence.

But what you conveniently leave out is the fact that it is a common corrupt practice of this KK government to have 'movable' judges in place in case the the RISK of an unwanted ruling is too high...but for the sake of politics they pretend to have have 'filled' their quotas with a 50% / 50% balance of pro & anti K judges...when in reality when 'push come to shove' they can have all the flexibility they like , when they want it.

What describes a judge is that he is there for lifetime, he was elected by a specific pricedure that involves the Congress and the President and he cannot be criminally prosecuted.

And they were easy to removed. I impeached and acchieved to remove about 5 jueces subrogantes.

So, before they 100% friends of the chamber, now they are 50/50 according with the results of last election. Sounds very democratic for me.

As soon as the subrogantes were elected by the Congress, they have to be removed by the colegio de la magistratura where now 51% of tge members are dlected by vote.

In capital federal the Pro is highly protected, isn't it?

Bajo - there is an ongoing korruption investigation against Baez (indirectly the Ks) and the Ks are replacing a moveable judge with a judge from a list that has been selected by them (ie that are predominantly Kirchneristas). Its a clear conflict of interest.
Why is she being replaced at this moment? (has there being a specific time frame reached?)
Why is the list of her replacements (surprisingly) primarily Pro-K?

As a specialist of the Constitution how do you feel about the Ks changing it so Kristina can be re-re elected? (we all know its coming). Do you think it was intended by the Founders of the Consitution to have it changed in that way?
