Agreed! The empanadas here in my opinion are horrible anyways, compared almost all the other countries in latin america.

Other Latin America empanadas are bigger and with more flavors, I like the Cuban ones, with slow cooked meat inside.

I didn't really recommend it, just found it online. Is it close to BART?

Not too far from the 16th Street station…on the 400 block of Valencia. They open at 8, I was there around 9:15 and bought the last (7) of their medialunas. They make them fresh there every morning. Nice people. Terrible coffee, unfortunately.

I prefer Argentina's smaller empanadas, with their relatively light masa. I dislike oversized Chilean empanadas, usually deep-fried with heavy dough.

There are many more flavors outside Buenos Aires, such as the tucumanas and the árabes. You can find those in BA, but you have to look for them.
