Hey Joe, welcome to the forum. I´m not going to lie to you and tell you to come on down assure you will have no issues getting a job and hell youll probably be able to do your masters as well.
The difficult thing with working here (legally) is that you need a work visa, but it is difficult to get a work visa without a job.
I would suggest following up any leads on here (for jobs) but do not accept anything working "en negro".
Even if nothing comes of it, just come here for a long holiday and have enough money to get back. Having been here several times as a tourist and now living here (been down here for a year), its definitely a great city for a good time, but much better if you dont have to worry about working and earning pesos
Someone else mentioned about not having your expectations too high and thats great advice. Despite what you may hear and all its pros, its a 3rd world country for a reason.
