Does anyone have any recommendations on a local IT consultant, preferably an English-speaker?

I also need to know a good place in the city to go purchase a replacement modem for my crap Fibertel one.

If you really need an IT consultant try ricardo at [email protected] - he gives great repair service and advice, and he speaks English too (he is an expat).

Why do you need to buy a replacement modem? Mine crashed last 10 days ago and Fibertel came in and replaced / reconfigured it at no cost. It's part of the service.

Thanks. Mine is not working properly, so Fibertel will replace it or we'll get Telecentro. It isn't letting my VoIP phone service through, so the problem is either the modem or the ISP.
