Need A Special Accountant

Hi All,

My wife and I are actively considering the purchase of an apartment here.
We would both use it ourselves and rent it when we are not here.

I need a special accountant to help me understand:

Argentine taxes on rental properties and rental income.
How they relate to U.S. taxes on rental property and income.

Needs to be fluent in english.

I keep thinking there must be other expats in a similar situation.

Help please.

I'm not saying that you don't need an accountant - far from it. But if you and your wife spend an evening or two reading the archives of this forum and using the search function to pull out previous discussions about buying and renting, owning property, letting property and tax and so on, you will end up with a far better picture of how things work and don't work here. Maybe that will answer some or most of your questions. Anyway, it will put you in a much better position to go on and ask the right questions: the ones that are relevant to you.
