Ben, there is no market where you have monopolies like in Argentina.

Macri won because Clarin (that is almost a monopoly) was protecting Macri and attacking the former President.

I wonder where is Periodismo para todos now that we need "serious" journalists like Lanata when the President pointed SC judges by decree.

I don't recall anyone pointing a gun to my head saying "YOU READ CLARIN OR YOU DIE"; and for all the Argentine friends and family who voted for Macri...regular people living in Villa del Parque, Flores, Parque Patricios. They read critically and judge for themselves. They voted against the Kult because they are not stupid people conned by the drama and speeches of mad woman who has done little else than build up her fan base of supplicants at the detrement of the country.

Anyone can champion a few feel-good humanitarian causes and say "Look what I did for you because I care about you"... it takes a strong hand to do something that is absolutely unpopular but extremely nessesary and see it through. Thus far, I haven't heard a peep out of the new government laying blame on Xistina even... they just got to work.

A bit exaggerated, I'd say. Listen to Prat-Gay's press conference today and you will hear more times than you care to count about the 'inheritance' they received from the previous government, the mistakes and paradoxes in the old policies, etc etc etc.

I didn't think any of it was out of line: the tone was professional and the accusations were on target, with little or no hyperbole or exaggeration. But not a peep laying blame? Not quite.

a) I don`t think that people that voted Macri is idiot. I asserted many times that there were a lot of people angry because they were not able to continue washing money buying usd without afip controls. Prat Gay made enphasis about that there will be not AFIP control. So, sure, they are not stupid, I know.

Sure, who else could get usd at 9 pesos in large ammounts? (I m not guessing, i have someone I know who works at a public bank).

There is always corruption. While the former officialism took advantage of the system, Niembro just stole 20.000.000 pesos. The corruption of the 2 parties work different.
