No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

I've found curry paste in the Disco, and (larger Carrefours) even fairly recently. It comes in a little jar,(in the imported foods section) and is basically a concentrate that you add water to to use . Took me a while to get used to, but it really is good because you can play with the dilutions to make it as strong (or weak)as you'd like. I've also mixed it with yoghurt or coconut milk. Once opened you keep the jar in the fridge and it lasts indefinately.

Last week I saw the red and green curry pastes in the bag at Ichiban (in the aisle on the right side of store, towards the front of the store) for 60 pesos. In Casa China I only saw green curry paste.

You might want to try Bodega Amparo. I do not know if they have the curry you are looking for but they have a lot of the same imports that you can find in Bario China.

I got some green curry paste on Saturday from the big supermarket just off the main street - the one with the massive load of fish at the back. Small bad for twenty something pesos.

Meaning not on Arribeños? I checked all the ones yesterday on Arribeños and they were tapped (both Casa Chinas and Ichiban, I believe)

Yep, when you're coming from the bus/train station onto arribeños, the first street on your right has a large supermarket with the green curry paste. It's a supermarket on the left hand side of the road (from where you'd be facing) with a large fish bit at the back and a restaurant type food stall inside on the left hand side.

I think it's this one...
