Like gringoboy, mine also didn't have the tax. However as I posted, the tix on the AA US website was more expensive than the AA Arg website for the same flight so despite not paying the 35% tax, the savings was negligible ($100 USD).
In fact with dollar blue at almost 12, it probably would now be cheaper to do it in pesos with the 35% tax anyway.
