No Hiding And No Running With Delta

Quoting prices in dollars is illegal, yet is it legal to quote and charge taxes in dollars? Sounds very strange to me. Do you know by chance of a rule or regulation supporting this? I had never heard before that an individual in Arg could be taxed in usd...

It is not, only on renting contracts it is illegal.
You are not tax on usd if you are a legal resident with an ar credit card. When I pay it is converted to pesos.

I understand, but I was not talking about me, but expats and tourists, permatourists with no access to arg cc are being charged INCOME TAX when they are most likely not even working here and paying taxes somewhere else and in USD.

It does not make sense that and Arg tax is charged in dollars to individuals... something seems to be way off here. And it is discriminatory that people living in Arg with no legal residency and no DNI and therefore no access to Arg cc are being taxed in dollars. This is not the spirit of our Constitution and certainly not the spirit of an administration that launched migratory plans such as Patria Grande ( NK ) A tourist paying INCOME TAX advance is ridiculous. Nothing makes any sense. There is only one word to describe this :Thieves!

You should know it better than I do, that illegal aliens living in Arg are entitled to the SAME RIGHTS as locals. This is discrimination and robbery.

You mean illegal immigrants? Well, this administration was described as a bunch of morons by many members of this forum. However, seems that they are doing well their job giving incentives or advantages to those who pay taxes and making things dificult to those who evade taxes. Do the same in the US and you probably go to jail just for being an illegal alien.

(I use illegal to enphasis)

Ok, right, sorry but here I am laughing. Are you trying to say that it is discriminatory that they make it dificul to those people who voluntary decide to live into illegality??????? Pleeeeeease! Like people in this country is civilized, not like in the US, and they don´t send people who lives here on illegal basis to jail before to deport them.

For real tourist it makes no difference. In fact, if they don t charge it to real tourist, then it is discriminatory.

The fact is that might be illegal if it applies only to foreignes, but applies to everyone. But people who pay income tax had an advantage, they can deduct it. To say that it is to pay income tax in advance is only an explanation on how does it works. I deduct many other expendichures from income tax.

Nothing makes any sense. There is only one word to describe this :Thieves!

Jajajajaja.
Interesting...
Seems that the AFIP thinks that people who lives here and don t pay taxes are thieves, and that is why this is a federal crime.

You should know it better than I do, that illegal aliens living in Arg are entitled to the SAME RIGHTS as locals. This is discrimination and robbery.

Same rights and duties, SAME DUTIES like to pay taxes. If you are a foreigner and you pay taxes, they you can deduct it as I did.

Income tax is base on where you live no mater your legal status.

At least in France, there's a jurisprudence from the Conseil d'État (higher administrative Court) that tells something like (don't remember the precise wording but the global scope yes) the Law about living 183 days in the country is not the only thing to consider: among other things to consider = familial, business, etc. ties that vinculates you to the country (meaning you can live less than 183 days in the country, but you still will be considered as a fiscal resident).

I guess there's some sort of same jurisprudence in many countries (in specific Fiscal Law... I was not too good studying that though, preferred Criminal or Business Law, jaja)

The income tax law is too clear:

Art. 5º - En general, y sin perjuicio de las disposiciones especiales de los artículos siguientes, son ganancias de fuente argentina aquellas que provienen de bienes situados, colocados o utilizados económicamente en la República, de la realización en el territorio de la Nación de cualquier acto o actividad susceptible de producir beneficios, o de hechos ocurridos dentro del límite de la misma, sin tener en cuenta nacionalidad, domicilio o residencia del titular o de las partes que intervengan en las operaciones, ni el lugar de celebración de los contratos.

If you work remotely by internet, but you are here, you have to pay income tax.

CONCEPTO DE RESIDENCIA
Art. 26 - A los efectos de las deducciones previstas en el artículo 23, se consideran residentes en la República a las personas de existencia visible que vivan más de SEIS (6) meses en el país en el transcurso del año fiscal.

It says people who lives in Argentina over 6 months a year: equal rights, equal duties.

I perfectly agree, what I just tried to express in that the Administrative Courts might have a different approach (at least in France that's the way it is with a very similar law).

Same rights, same duties and SAME CURRENCY! This is Argentina no, the United States right? Why charge a tax in dollars to people living here or going past this place? And I thought you were all about standing for same rights same duties for your fellow expat cleitns that try to get citizenship. SHAME ON YOU BC!

How about tourists? The local govt are THIEVES! and you seem to be perfectly fine with it. Shame on you. How about those on a rentista visa? Or those that are retired and live off their savings? THIEVES!!!!

If you are a tourist and texed INCOME TAX, tell me how in hell you deduct that? If you are a rentista and not subject to income tax and you get this 35% bullshit, tell me how in hell you deduct that? and notice that these two examples are legal within migration laws.
