Peron picked the wrong side of the war, but he also picked the wrong side of economics, others did even worst, like China, Cuba, the Soviet Union and a bunch of others who didn't pick but were forced into an experiment called communism, fortunately, all of the above except for Cuba realized that it wasn't working and changed. Argentina is one of the few countries in the world where there is a real debate about socialism, about forced redistribution of wealth... americans are criticized for not knowing world history, but it seems argentinians beat them hands down... and to the inevitable why am I here question? Because I like it here, and I the right to not like the poverty here and six decades of straight economic decline.
