Ordering a Book from Amazon

For those ordering books...If you really need the book to arrive, I would be careful about ordering a used copy from the Amazon Marketplace sellers, the folks who sell their books online. Amazon the company obviously has a lot of experience and stake in making sure their products get to their destinations worldwide, paying whoever they need to pay if need be, to make sure their books get through. I ordered a used book from one of Better World Books allied sellers on Sept 1, and it never came. They are great about refunds, so I am out nothing, but sadly, I'm only out the book!

Hi
I ordered my book from Amazon December 8th and just received it today, December 17th. I think that is fabulous service.

You must have paid the express service -- I've done that a couple of times, this time I did the slow-boat method just because I can't justify spending so much extra on shipping.
