Pensionado visa for married couple

I am married, looking at applying for a Pensionado visa in Argentina. Do each of us have to individually meet the income requirement separately ? Or is it sufficient that if only one of us meets the income requirement then each of us would get Pensionado visa together ? We are both US citizens.

It's hard to think of a reason why they would accept two people whose income was less than 2 X the minimum amount.

But the income requirement for the pensionista is new, so if you try for it, or get professional advice, please let us know how Migraciones are interpreting their own rules on the matter and how they are calculating the minimum amount.
