Permanent Residency

I have business back home that I have to take care of. I have to wait until I have only 2 months before my visa expires and thats on March 16th, thus I cant start until Jan 16th. Believe me I know I am cutting it close but I'm doing the best I with what time I have. I have gone through the temp visa process three times I know its a hassle so this isnt ideal but what can I do? Gotta get back home! As for the tax implications what are they? If I wont be working here for an Argentine company am I still obligated to pay taxes?

If you are applying for the first time the answer is simple. Don't do it. It would only be temporary residency and that now requires 6 months presence in Argentina per year to be renewed. You cannot get permanent residency unless you have had temporary residency for the previous three years.

I have had temp residency for 3 years, as a student doing a masters course.

I suggest you apply for citizenship if you cannot get the PR.
Take a look at my website.
